A week in the life of our Adacel family

Mondays – a great way to start a new week

Telecommuting for some, taking care of last-minute personal business for others before heading into the office to start a new week. And everyone is on by 9a.m.! Our core business hours each day is 9a.m. – 3p.m. So if you feel like working 6a.m.-3p.m., or 9a.m.-6p.m. – it’s fair game for us! Just be present, be productive, and always do your best!

Alecia - Adacel Technologies
I love working at Adacel because I enjoy the fantastic work/life balance the company provides to its employees. I also admire how much the company values its customers. In addition, I appreciate Adacel’s inclusive work environment where I can comfortably be my afro-wearing self!

Alecia Harvey. HR Generalist, Adacel, Orlando, FL

Tuesdays

Tuesday is the first day of the week when everyone is expected to be in the office. To catch up, to have those meetings, and interact as a team. So, unless you have a good reason, we expect you to come in and have a great and productive day! And yes, we love our casual business attire. If you like yoga and wish to break your day with a relaxing lunch-time yoga session, one is available to you, right here, in our office in Montreal. Those in Orlando can enjoy some freshly-baked cookie instead!

Mike Brady - Adacel
“Adacel is the most interesting company I have ever worked for.  I have been here eight years and there are still opportunities every day to learn and grow professionally.”

Mike Brady, Manager, New Product Development, Orlando, FL

Wednesdays

Our Wednesdays at Adacel are very much like Tuesdays, except Wednesday is a hump day. So, while we love what we do, it makes it better to be working on a hump day!

Brice - Adacel Technologies
“The Adacel team members are by far the most dedicated people I’ve seen in my professional life. Our communications with our customers are open and sincere. As a former air traffic controller, I am very proud of our systems’ quality and how we respond to our customers’ needs.”

Brice Lach, ATM Subject Matter Expert, Adacel, Montreal.

Thursdays

Thursdays are for wrapping up our projects for the week. We use our Thursdays to their fullest potential, because, oftentimes, Thursdays are the last day of our work week. So everyone is in the office, hustling and bustling away. But we are never too busy for another lunch-time invigorating yoga break in the Montreal office. Or a break with some freshly baked cookies in Orlando. Fun!

Kelsie - Adacel Technologies
“I have the best team!  No matter what challenges we face, we always work together to provide the best possible solution for our customers.  I know I can always count on my team, and I hope they know they can always count on me.”

Kelsie Rodriguez, Manager, Operations

fridays

With an 80/9 schedule, we enjoy every other Friday off. And when we do work on Fridays, those days are one hour shorter and they are telecommuting days for many. Fridays off or shorter workdays always make the start of the weekend sweeter. What are your weekend plans?

Julien - Adacel Technologies
“The work atmosphere is really great. We work in downtown, which is a big advantage. And the benefits are awesome: every other Friday off, flexible hours, telecommuting options, playing area, free bikes rental, gym, and yoga classes just to name a few.”

Julien Conte, Project Lead, Engineering Services, Adacel, Montreal
